Contemporary Garden

Designed in house by Harrington brothers, the client wanted to make this garden more usable as the garden was not level and needed to be split into two to make it so.

The brief was to create a contemporary garden which has a large terrace and is very easy to maintain, this was done with the use of straight lines and symmetry. The lawn area and terrace are both the same size to mirror each other and four raised black planters were used to give some structure. Polished sandstone was used to pave the terrace and clad the walls which retain the terrace. Buxus spheres , lavender and small phorniums were used in the planting scheme to compliment this design and low level lighting was used to illuminate the terrace and step to the lawn area.
